We loved the T- shirt but needed the print for a cover for my husbands prosthetic leg. He was in an awful accident a year and lost a leg as a result. He is a Beatle Fanatic and we had to put them on his new leg. Thanks for the awesome art and it was the perfect size.

Orchid Elegance is a painting in traditional Chinese free style (Xie Yi) technique with ink on rice paper.
The orchid used to represent good taste and beauty in Chinese traditional culture. They symbolize elegance, nobility and self-respect. They also belongs to the "Four Gentlemen of Chinese Painting" - the plum blossom, orchid, bamboo and chrysanthemum and represent one of the four seasons!
Artists are using the same techniques as in calligraphy, therefor the image is not really painted but rather written.
In China the calligraphy always belong to the painting. It’s like the signature from the artist.
This one is without the original calligraphy!

I was born in Germany and I finished my first oil painting at the age of fifteen. Drawing and painting became a part of my live. Inspired by the Dutch beach and the Mediterranean landscape I first focused on scenery painting. From 2011 to 2017 I have lived in Nanjing and Shanghai (China) and was studying Chinese painting. First by Chen Jie, a master in traditional Chinese painting. 2015 I moved to Shanghai and continued my studies of traditional Chinese painting using different techniques.
